1. Interface with Project Management and Logistics to manage the work successfully and meet required target dates.
2. Ensure a high quality of workmanship and interface with QA for related periodic quality inspections.
3. Successfully manage the sub-contracted civil-works teams in various regions to meet target dates and quality work specified.
4. Implementation of earthworks (levels, excavations, backfill & compaction); reinforced concrete (setting out, shuttering, re-bar, bolt templates, concrete quality and finishes); tower erection (plumbness, correct assembly, torquing of fixings, safety obligations); fencing installation (steel palisade – plumbness, squareness, alignment, levels, concrete to fence-post footings); concrete apron (setting out, shuttering, joints, concrete quality and finishes
5. The management and control of materials delivered to site
6. Administrative duties, including timesheet submission, project feedback, invoicing, project planning, material control and expenditure control.
7. Control all costs related to the site team for the duration of the site works.
8. Interface with Regional Project managers, Program Management and skilled labour crews to carry out works successfully.
9. Evaluation and assessment, oversee tender application and specifications, assisting in setting up f price lists
1. General house-keeping and training of site staff.
2. Health and Safety on site and adherence to the law and Company Policies regarding Health and Safety.
3. Report accurately on all site installation works.
4. Correct implementation of all civil-works as per Engineering specification supplied.
5. To comply with any further instructions or requirements of a reasonable nature that may be given by senior management from time to time.
6. It should be noted that, as duties and responsibilities change, this job specification may be reviewed and amended from time to time.
