Marketing Development Manager

• Develop and manage the effective execution of the High Income marketing strategy and plan, in line with the Retail Marketing strategic focus areas, Intermediary Value Proposition & Customer Value Proposition (with an emphasis on investments).
• Work extensively with the Retail Wealth Management business to deliver an enhanced High Income Segment value proposition.
• Collate, analyse and interpret market intelligence data for the segment.
• Monitor and analyse competitor activity.
• Ensure custodianship of intelligence to enable effective business decision-making.
• Responsible for market development (including acquisitions, cross-sell and up-sell, and retention).
• Ensure on-time delivery of marketing plans.
• Responsible for communication (including to the media) and marketing activities of the High Income segment.
• Conduct presentations and facilitate marketing workshops, events and seminars.
• Responsible for direct mail and leads campaigns.
• Coordinates the elements of client launches
• Together with distribution & product marketing, coordinate the elements of intermediary launches & seminars.
• Brief design agency on creative work
• Ensure brand consistency on all client-facing material.
• Build relationships with suppliers (internal & external), vendors and internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage marketing expenses.
• Lead, manage and develop a team of marketing managers (up to 5 direct reports).
