Supports the Procurement Manager in executing strategies relating to high spend categories.Execute strategies required for categories/commodities of a lower spend value. Effectively Negotiates contracts identify and assist with the implementation of initiatives and process improvements in all areas (commodities, services and capital projects)Assist with the development of business cases to support opportunities within the BU. Research and analyse the market place and commodity/category information communicating with BU’s regarding market trends and conditions. Collect internal spend data required for decision making. Focus on customer service. In consultation with internal customers of the commodity/service, develop sourcing strategies that reduce the Total Cost of Ownership. Assist with the managing of Supplier/Contractor performance; resolve performance issues and generally ensure suppliers work with Sites to improve overall performance. Provide a key link between B2T Procurement and the BU Customers

Ensuring security of supply for all commodities allocated, Manage vendor performance by conducting regular reviews with vendors, monitoring key performance measures especially cost reductions, resolving performance issues and generally ensuring vendors work with sites to improve overall performance.Communicate external and internal best practices across the site. Drive efficiency of processes and maximise effectiveness through leverage. Providing analytical support for Procurement Manager Monitor and Report Contract and Supplier KPI’s.
