The incumbent will be responsible to provide an array of design services in the studio, and in the field environment, to enhance and communicate various marketing/advertising messages:
To conceptualise and design advertisements for 'through the line media'.
Produce/design visual communication for various mediums such as magazine publications, print and electronic brochures, interpretive outdoor/indoor material, exhibition stands, website, digital interactive, point of sale, direct mail and posters.
Ensure that the corporate identity is consistent and adhered to throughout all advertising/media initiatives.

Requirements
Minimum three year National Diploma in Graphic Design.
At least ten years experience in the industry of graphic design and advertising.
Thorough understanding of graphic design principles.
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Freehand.
Be in possession of, or have a keen aptitude to learn additional software such as Adobe Illustrator, Flash, Indesign and electronic brochure software.
Extensive knowledge of printing and production requirements.
Holistic understanding of marketing, advertising and promotional principles.
Sound knowledge of interpretive display design and structural construction.
Excellent presentation skills in communicating draft concepts to senior management and external parties.
Ability to select the best photography, and source the appropriate stock imagery (with or without a brief) in a timely fashion.
The nature of this industry at times requires assistance out of work hours, travelling a certain number of days per month and over-nighting at various work locations.
Code 08 drivers licence.
Advantageous
Knowledge of environmental conservation would be an added advantage.
