Job Spec for Office & Financial Manager Position

Just Trees Pty Ltd is looking to recruit a full time Office Manager on the following basis:

General:
• Full time position
• Reports to the Managing Director
• A strong candidate is required to ensure smooth operation of all office functions
• In addition the candidate will be required to complete many of the accounting functions (see below under detail)
• We are looking for a solid, trustworthy, dependable candidate who can stand on their own feet and grow with the business. This is a long-term hire for the Company
• Good growth opportunities as the Company is expanding rapidly
• Must be proficient in the use of computers including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and especially accounts software (Quick Books preferably); also use of internet banking.
• Market related salary offered depending on experience.
• Must be able to integrate and operate in a small dynamic close-knit team of less than 6 people.
• Immediately
• Preferably lives locally (Paarl or surrounds) so that travel is not too much of an issue and flexibility can be maximised

Specific job requirements are a follows:
1. Customers:
a. Processing of credit applications and follow up references
b. Issue Invoices & credit notes
c. Issue Statements
d. Daily debtor control
e. Filing invoice and delivery notes
2. Accounting:
a. Enter PC, CC and bank income and expenditure
b. Reconcile PC, CC and bank accounts monthly
c. Produce and submit VAT reports on SARS e-filing
d. Calculate Diesel rebate
e. Print bank statement monthly recon and file
3. Computer:
a. Weekly backup of all data
b. Weekly clean up and defrag of computers
