Requirements:

 Preferably a Occupational Health qualification and at least 2-6 years experience in an occupational healthcare environment.
 A dispensing license.
 Audiometry qualification (with update in instruction 171).
 A primary healthcare certificate (would be an advantage).
 Good computer literacy in Excel, Word, E-mail and Windows XP.
 Good communication skills.
 ATLS / ACLS course or extensive “out of hospital” emergency care / trauma experience.
 HIV/Aids counseling and treatment experience.
 Own transport and accommodation.
 A sense of urgency and business commitment.
 Positive attitude, drive, flexibility and a professional image in terms of appearance and conduct at all times.

Roles and responsibilities:

 Service provision and general clinic management.
 Provision of primary health care.
 Health promotion.
 Injury on duty procedure and COID Act Documentation.
 Workplace health and hygiene.
 Medical Surveillance.
 Management of emergence and first aid.
 Processing information on clients IT system.
