REQUIREMENTS:
*BCOM Degree or Accounting Diploma backed by at least 5 YEARS MANAGEMENT experience
*Sound knowledge of the PFMA and Teasury regulations
*Sound Knowledge of the Supply Chain Management Framework and Relevant, Prescripts
*Basic Accounting System (BAS) and Public Service Regulations
DUTIES:
*Reporting to the Senior Corporate Manager
*The incumbent will assist with the overall management of the Finance and Procurement unit
*Compilation of the NPA budget
*Reporting and monitoring or the expenditure of the NPA against the approved budget
*Manage budget on BAS
*Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on expenditure against the budget
*Make a follow up on incorrect allocations with the office managers
*Coordinate and prepare inputs for MTEF, ENE and apply for roll-over funds
*Submit cash flow projections for the NPA to the relevant authority
*Comply with budgetary aspects as stipulated in the PFMA4
*Treasury Regulations and Financial Prescripts as required by the National Treasury
*Maintain BAS Code Structure
*Co-ordinate budget training in the NPA
*Provide person-to- person training on BAS
*Supervision and management of staff
*Asset Management
*Develop, implement, and monitor policies arid procedures governing sound financial and procurement management
SKILLS
•Computer literacy, i.e. Excel, MS Word and Power Point
•Ability to think strategically and be innovative
•Good communication and managerial skills
•Knowledge of Public Sector Legislation, Policies
•Regulations-Knowledge and skill with regard to compliance with the PFMA and Supply Chain Management
•Strong organizational and leadership skills
