Who are they?
The Customer Service Manager will be responsible for setting up the call centre operation and managing the young and dynamic Customer Service team for the local branch of an international e-commerce business.
What would you do?
•Ensure that their growing customer base receives first-class customer service. Their contact channels are calls, emails, Facebook, Twitter, chat and Hello Peter.
•You will have to develop new processes and procedures and have the flexibility to react to changing market conditions. This will require the day-to-day management and optimisation of the customer service call centre, reporting on call centre statistics and performance, and direct management of staff and temporary placements.
•You will also be responsible for coaching and providing feedback for contact centre staff and leading the team by example, with enthusiasm and passion.
•You will be working in a highly pressurized and target-driven environment, where your hard work will be rewarded. You may also be required to work long hours if and when required.
•With your advanced MS Office skills you can provide reports to the Executive team and analyse call volume, your team's performance to name but a few.
•You use your leadership skills to motivate and lead your team and find new staff when required. Your IT skills will allow you to source the best solution in terms of IVR, call routing and reporting.
Can you apply?
•Bachelor's degree
•Three+ years' experience managing a high impact team (not negotiable)
•Experience managing a team in a pressurised and evolving environment whilst still ensuring their customers are treated like royalty!
•Ability to lead and inspire a team
•Knowledge of web-based CRM and optimisation of such applications
•Previous experience working with foreign based counter parts
•Fluent in English with an excellent standard of written and spoken communication
•Fluent in another official language an advantage
•Exceptional critical thinking skills
•Key reporting skills
•Attention to detail
•Flexibility, strong organisational skills, communication skills and a high level of professionalism
•Competent user of MS-Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
•Positive attitude, energetic approach and self-motivation are all essential
