Job description
The Habari Group is looking for a Finance Administrator to join their growing team in the Head Office in Cape Town.
The candidate must have a three year degree (or equivalent) in accounting and have experience in the preparation of accounts up to balance sheet as well as meaningful reports to be used by management. The candidate should have extensive experience in debtors and creditors, and preparation thereof, and as such will need to have an excellent telephone manner and be comfortable dealing with people on all levels. The ideal candidate must be extremely well organised and thorough in their approach. A working knowledge of MS Office is required.
The role will also encompass the following:
Debtor and Creditor Management
Processing of financial transactions
Review of month end journals and sub ledger reconciliations
Cash Flow Reporting
General admin: Filing, Faxing, Organising, Implementing Systems
A minimum of two years' experience is required.
Requirements
Three year accounting degree (or equivalent)
Knowledge of Pastel is essential
Knowledge of Chase is an advantage
Media Agency experience is essential
