Job description
The Natal Witness Printing & Publishing Company invites applications for the position of Senior Accountant in our Finance Department.

The successful candidate must be a Commerce graduate who has served articles. Pursuing a related professional qualification would be an advantage. Critical areas of the job require knowledge and application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Group Accounting as well as a sound knowledge of the Companies Act, Income Tax Act and other related Tax Acts in South Africa.

The incumbent will be required to:
• Prepare monthly management reports
• Prepare annual financial statements
• Prepare tax returns
• Manage staff as assigned
• Formulate and implement special projects
• Perform related duties

The ability to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines is crucial.
