Job description
Habari Media is a digital media sales house for market leading brands like Facebook, MTV, BBC, LinkedIn, Business Day and Vodacom. Habari Media also won the "Best Digital Sales Team" award at the Bookmarks 2010 awards. We are looking for a passionate, experienced and skilled person to lead our Operations team.
As the Digital Operations Manager, your main responsibility will be to lead the trafficking team and ensure that they develop high quality customer service relationships.
Responsibilities include
1. Ensuring campaigns are effectively tested, implemented and delivered
2. Improve processes and efficiency
3. Keep up to date with and share ad serving knowledge with your team
4. Work with partners to tag up their sites
5. Provide leadership by developing best practices for campaign management
6. Train new and current staff on the use of ad servers, campaign management and the sales process
7. Support sales team with technical and ad hoc queries
8. Work with the Channel Management and Strategist teams to optimise and monetise platforms
9. Maintain excellent service levels to clients, sales team and agencies
10. Ensure that operation team members are constantly growing in their field
Requirements
Technical competencies required
1. You must have a minimum of three years experience in digital advertising operations, this includes:
a. Double click ad trafficking and tag generation
b. OpenX ad trafficking and campaign management
c. Eyeblaster ad trafficking and campaign management
d. Or ad trafficking, tag generation and campaign management in at least two different ad serving technologies
2. Be proactive, organised, detailed, responsible and be able to succeed in an international working environment
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
4. Have the ability to motivate your team
