Job description
We are looking for a passionate and very experienced Account Manager to deal with top level clients and agencies for Habari Media's Business Portfolio including the brands BBC.com, LinkedIn, Business Day, Financial Mail, Summit and Just Money.

Habari also won the "Best Digital Sales Team" award at the Bookmarks 2010 awards and finalists in the 2011 awards.
The person must have an in-depth knowledge of the overall media agency market as well as a solid direct client track record in the digital and traditional media space. A very strong sales background, in digital and also traditional media, with a minimum of five years' experience in South Africa.
Requirements
• To grow the business and drive clients and agencies to invest their spend in the business portfolio
• Meet revenue and client service targets as set by management, including managing forecasting, spend trends and client investments for their client portfolio
• Excellent knowledge of digital and traditional media and marketing trends including display and performance
• To develop and implement innovative, effective and comprehensive media strategies and programs that will reach and engage fans on the Facebook platform
• High level strategic insight and education of clients, new and retained, on how to incorporate our platforms into their overall, integrated marketing communication mix
• Participate in new business development pitches
