Job description
Atmosphere Communications is an award-winning PR agency with an advertising agency affiliation and a distinctive creative edge. We are currently recruiting for an account director who will join the Joburg team starting as soon as possible working on consumer and corporate accounts. We are looking for a passionate, talented person with agency and team management experience. Strategy, creativity, attention-to-detail and strong leadership skills should all be in this person's repertoire.

The job entails:
strategic direction for the account
managing the client relationship
overseeing three account managers and one account assistant to ensure all work is done to the highest standards
overseeing the implementation of media relations calendars

Requirements
Five to seven or more years of communications experience, at least three in an agency environment. Extremely strong media relations experience, team management, client services skills, strategy development and implementation are critical.
