A very well known and award winning agency in Cape Town is looking to fill a role for as PR account director.
Salary is estimated at R25 - R30 CTC depending on experience.
The suitable candidate should have previous financial service experience if possible.
Will oversee PR Account Managers and be responsible for both the performance and development of the PR Account Managers and Account Executives who report to you.

You will be accountable for:
Development and full implementation of PR and social media strategies.
Managing multiple projects and active client management at a senior level.
Proactive media, stakeholder and social media engagement that deliver results
Ability to work strategically and drive the account from a strategic platform
Demonstration of problem solving at all levels and ensuring creative, high quality work is delivered.
Development of productive and positive client relationships to grow retainers.
Managing and motivating junior staff to perform and overseeing that quality writing and work is delivered.

It is essential that you have the following skills:
Minimum two to five years Account Director Experience.
Proven ability to think strategically and creatively.
Exceptional financial services (technical and consumer) writing skills.
Proven track record of generating results from excellent client and media relations
Proven Project Management skills and the ability to manage challenging deadlines and budgets.
