Job description
- Strong Events Experience
The Account Manager's ultimate responsibility is the delivery on client Events and campaigns and compiling final project plans and is the key person in charge of delivery, budgets and administration.
Delivery and Project Management
• Putting final Project Plans together with checklists for team to follow.
• Managing Events/projects including concept, turn key delivery and execution.
• Ability to research new concepts and prepare presentations and cost estimates.
• Ensuring at all times that quality deadlines are met and producing post project reports
• Identify potential opportunities within the industry for the client, conceptualize and present to client.
Process / Traffic Admin
• Placing purchase orders
• Maintaining project plans
• Compiling presentations and cost estimates
• Managing project budgets
• Ensuring that all necessary documentation for project reviews are correct
Client Management
• Taking briefs from Account director or client where applicable
• Ensure accurate briefs are presented to creative studio and briefed into CHASE.
• Ability to manage all aspects of client events, from planning to delivery and post event wrap up
• Ability to attend client meetings, take a brief and assist in developing creative solutions
• Find solutions to client problems
• Compile competitor review
• Assists in strategy development.
Experience Level:
Three to five years marketing, Events agency experience ideally.
Requirements
Account Manager Profile:
• Strong experience in the events industry from concept, set-up and managing evetns. Responsible for key delivery on all client requests, events and projects.
• Skills in project management, ensuring all time and quality deadlines are met and producing post project reports
• Acting as the link between Account Executives and Account Directors and Business Unit Directors by maintaining regular contact with both, ensuring that communication flows effectively;
• Able to confidently communicate with clients with assistance of Account Director or BUD.
• Experience in managing projects including concept, turn key delivery and execution.
• Skills in managing project budgets, preparing for project reviews and placing purchase orders
• Ability to research new concepts and prepare and compile presentations, project justification and business cases
• Ability to attend client meetings, take a brief and assist in developing creative solutions.
• Own Transport and valid Driver's license.
• Travel in the Gauteng area, and occasionally to other provinces, will be required.
Advantageous
• Experience across various marketing and advertising disciplines, e.g. print, events, digital, Radio, TV, activations and sales.
• An understanding and knowledge of latest marketing and advertising trends.
