requirements:
*Minimum qualification will be Matric preferably with maths and accounts
*Minimum of 5 years experience in the same field
*Experience in dealing with staff and matters relating thereto
*High organizing skills
*Ensure that daily, weekly and monthly deadlines re met
Main Responsibilities:
*Producti- on of the monthly management accounts together with all supporting schedules
*Reconciliation of all GL accounts to subledgers on a monthly basis
*Control of the fixed asset register
*Preparation of quarterly sales analysis
*Preparation of Annual Financial Statements
*Preparation of the Annual Budget
*Production of monthly flash reports as well the daily and weekly sales figures
*Checking and authorising creditor’s reconciliations for payments
*Preparation of input for salary and wages to the pay office
*Cheque signatory
*Overseeing cash book and petty cash
*Overseeing the creditor control function and ensuring that debtors are adequately controlled
*Ensuring that inventory levels are maintained at acceptable levels
*Administration of the quarterly stock takes (stock counts and capture)
*Ensuring that systems and producers (per system manual) as amended from time to time are strictly adhered to
*Any other functions as required by the position
