Job description
The Decorex SA team is looking for a mid-level / senior in-house graphic designer to complete the dynamic team. The position is part-time (five to seven hours a day).

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the below:

Conceptualising:
Brainstorming with the team and assistance with all creative concepts ranging from hall décor to press packs, stand designs and the new look and feel for 2010.

Doing research and planning for campaign concepts and then pitching them to the team or clients if necessary.

Print Design:
Typesetting, preparing and designing PowerPoint presentations and proposals, designing and preparing advertisements and advertorials for newspapers and magazines. Designing of all other marketing collateral, such as entrance tickets, tent cards, flyers, show bags, exhibitor manuals, posters, fact sheets, floor plans etc.

Online:
Designing of web advertisements and getting involved with projects for the Decorex SA, SAHC and Decorex Designer Hotels websites where needed. Design of (not coding) e-cards and material for e-marketing campaigns as well as assistance with e-zine (where needed). When training is provided to further skills in Dreamweaver, assistance can be giving with changes on the above websites.

Hall Décor:
Designing of hall décor, including directional signage, fascia boards, banners as well as the Decorex Limited and Decorex Designer Hotels stands.

Requirements
Work on Mac (unless own PC supplied)
Must have experience in all the relevant design programs - Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator

Advantageous
Mid level - Senior / minimum of five years experience
Dreamweaver (html / ColdFusion)
