Purpose of the job:
Newly launched IGNITION, is growing rapidly. We urgently need a smart, innovative and driven sales executive who's capable of big things and passionate about anything and everything motoring!

Main responsibilities / outcomes:
Achieve aggressive monthly revenue targets.
New business development: Prospect and contact new potential clients to grow client base.
Ability to deal with clients on all levels e.g. junior buyers, managing directors, etc.
Develop and maintain professional long term relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
Presentation and client interaction: ensure that clients are updated/educated by presentations and one on one meetings.
In-depth product knowledge and creation of innovative advertising opportunities
Constant evaluation of campaigns/ ad spend levels.
Internal liaison: Develop cross departmental relationships with editorial, production and advertising team
Administration: monitor competitor media platforms, booking schedules, contracts material and client queries and feedback.

Job competencies:
•Thorough knowledge of the motoring industry with at least two years minimum media sales experience
•A strong, proven sales record with a history of achieving aggressive revenue targets.
•Customer focused, business minded, with a thorough understanding of sales methods and good negotiation skills
Personal competencies
•Clear and innovative thinking
•Confidence to deal at the top level
•Walk fast. Own boss.
•Computer literate in excel and powerpoint

Minimum requirements:
Assertive and confident with high energy levels.
Good communications skills
Sound administration skills.
Dynamic self-starter.
Flexibility to deal with clients queries beyond office hours.
