A large concern within the OE supplies requires an individual to be responsible for the following:

identification of potential Industrial customers within the KZN market platform based on pre-determined criteria;
develop and enhance business relationships with pre-selected original equipment customers;
identify and understand the relationship between key end-user and original equipment suppliers in order to influence the battery buying selection process at both levels;
monitor customer performance within the buying platform on a monthly basis per product type, sales value, GP and overall percentage contribution to the industrial business in KZN;
daily extrapolation of sales information from the SAP system to assess actual units, sales value and GP against budget units, sales value and GP;
implement a plan of action if necessary, incorporating all the elements as discussed in the sales management process above;
manage and monitor gross profit on a daily basis and implement action plan if necessary;
compile and update the sales pipeline for the entire KZN region on a weekly basis, and forward to the Industrial manager;
establish, maintain and grow customer relationships to enhance visibility and credibility;
install and commission traction batteries and equipment at customer premises by utilizing the services of the mobile service technicians;
provide regular presentations/training to customers on products and pricing to ensure that the customers are kept up to date with technical product changes;
host regular trade functions and suitable customer entertainment in order to promote the product and grow/develop customer relations;
initiate and monitor all promotional activity to develop and grow existing customer base and market share in consultation with the customer and industrial manager;
build and maintain satisfactory working relationships with mobile service technicians, buyers, debtors, warehouse staff and assembly workshop;

pro-actively manage customers with potentially high risk for the company and liaise with debtors in respect of any action planning that needs to be done;
ensure correct stock is forecasted for, on due date by monitoring buying patterns of all customers using forecasting based on customer demand.More information upon application.

Requirements
The ideal candidate must have a three year degree/diploma in marketing; two to three years working experience in sales and marketing environment; two to three years experience in a service/relationship key account executive role; basic technical aptitude will be an advantage; knowledge of DC systems; previous experience in the administration of SAP systems essential); computer literate(MS Office); business acumen; high level of commercial understanding; basic financial skills; sales forecasting; advanced negotiation skills; good communication skills at all levels; good interpersonal skills; customer focus centric; analytical; tenacity; execution and follow through persuasiveness; creativity; good organizational skills(planning, organizing) .
