Reporting to the Senior Client Services Relationship Manager, the appointed person will be responsible for managing accounts in the Natural Resources sector and driving market positioning and market development through enhanced customer awareness and satisfaction. Responsibilities within this role include:
*Develop and direct on-going strategic plans for the accounts
*Establish, develop and maintain close working client relationships within the context of the accounts and strengthen their position as a preferred supplier of services
*Develop an understanding of the clients' business issues and drivers with a view to translating such business requirements into a service offering
*Maximise revenue stream and gross margin on the accounts
*Commercial decision making - accountable for all commercial decisions which impact the accounts
*Ensure that the service delivered contributes to meeting the clients changing business needs and improves business performance
*Ensure the application of best practice and current technology
*Working with the Service Delivery organisations to ensure optimum service to the Customer

The requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
• At least ten to 15 years experience in the natural resources sector and be highly regarded in the industry
• Three year business-oriented tertiary qualification supported by sales/marketing and proven strategic account management experience
• Sound business acumen and commercial skills
• Well developed negotiation, facilitation and business analysis skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to meet deadlines, effective time management and results focus
• A team orientation and the ability to work within an unstructured environment.
