The candidate must be prepared to predominantly live and work in Luanda, Angola.(Being single or married without child responsibilities would be preferable)
Good communication skills and articulate in English both spoken, read and written. Must be able to speak, read and write in Portugese or be prepared to learn in a short period of time.
Motivated with a pleasant and outgoing disposition.
Have sales and marketing nature/skills.
Having experience in the materials handling/ mining/ construction or civils industry i.e. Engineering or Heavy Diesel technical background would be an advantage.
Computer literate - word processing, spreadsheets, data basis as a minimum.
Good understanding of general admin and finance processes: systems and procedures,document control, design and controls embedded in source documentation e.g. orders, etc.
Must understand basic finance and financing structures.
Reasonable knowledge and understanding of general accounting practice and entries, income statements and balance sheets, Debtors, Creditors, Assets and Liabilities etc.
Basic understanding of insurance, risk management, letters of credit, transfers, currencies, currency rates and cross rates.
Good methodical organisation and co-ordination skills and small project organisation and collation ability with good document presentation skills.
Research skills - using Internet and other means.
