The successful applicant will be required to:
Prepare media campaigns and plan media strategies
Present to agencies, clients/all new opportunities
Forecast and report on sales figures, trends and agency movements and monitor competitors' performance
Negotiate group discounts to ensure market share commitment
Handle agency and client queries
Liaise with editorial, production and advertising production on an on-going basis
Achieve monthly sales targets
Present direct to financial agencies and financial clients to secure financial advertising
Work closely with editorial on Personal Finance and Business Report
Be able to present to senior financial management to glean financial notices and interims
Do weekly sales reports and liaises with other Inc branches

Requirements
Have a proven track record of newspaper advertising sales with both agencies and clients
Have excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills
Be computer literate with Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point)
Be in possession of a valid code 08 driver's licence

Advantageous
Marketing experience and having an understanding of the newspaper production process would be an advantage.
