Accountabilities and key outputs:
Develop, update, analyses and report on all project cost and variances
Guide the creation of reports to accurately reflect current budgets, invoices and committed costs, cost to complete estimates, budget variances and cash flow projections
Develop trending information to assist in forecasting potential problems with cost and time.
Advise on preparation of monthly expenditure forecasts.
University degree BCom / BSc Eng or equivalent

Requirements:
High level knowledge and experience in Primavera costing management / Expedition will be an added advantage
MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
5 - 10 years experience in project cost management
Experience in construction cost estimating
Understanding of construction contracts
Knowledgeable in civil engineering industry practices
In-depth knowledge of SAP system
Scheduling experience based on PMBok principles

The duration of the appointment will be till the end of March 2009. This, however, is also dependent on the resource's performance and ability to perform the task at hand.
