A small below the line agency is looking for a middle weight to senior art director / designer to work on a variety of our accounts.

Our exciting variety of brands range from Alcohol (Whisky / Beer / Brandy), Bread, Financial Institutions, Rehad Clinics, Contemporary Kids Furniture, Pharmacuticals, Lingerie, Upmarket Restaurants to name but a few.

We are looking for an experienced and hard working individual who can hit the ground running (from mid January 2010) and is used to working in a pressurised, deadline and a budget driven environment.

The successful candidate will have to be well versed in all aspects of BTL advertising from leaflets, POS, to vehicle branding, corporate identity development, brochures, invites, print ads, menu's, website look and feels - to mention a few.

The candidate is to have their own set up - computer etc. They will be working from their own space and come in to review with both Creative Directors.

On all jobs they will be working with our copywriter and all work will be approved by both creative directors before being presented to client. He/she will not be required to attend meetings or presentations.
They will however be supplied their own agency email address, and must have permanent internet access.

Requirements
- At least five years design / art direction experience with an advertising agency
- Conceptual out of the box thinker
- Produce well-thought out designs
- Must be versatile and able to work across a diverse range of accounts
- Must have a diverse portfolio demonstrating talent and abilities
- Must have an eye for detail
- A unique design flair that can add value to our existing brands/clients
- Be able to handle different jobs at the same time
- Confident with ability to work under pressure - able to swop from one project to another without flapping!
- Strong conceptual abilities, the ability to work comfortably across different mediums and have an understanding of alternative media
- A professional approach to costs and deadlines
- Good time management
- Intelligence, speed and attention to detail
- Able to take designs from concept to final stage (finished art)

Programmes you will be working in:
- Freehand (preferably) or Indesign
- Photoshop
